Facebook Charity Auction Group

We are excited to be holding online auctions within our facebook group

and would like to thank everyone who has donated items/experiences or services for us to auction. We are truly grateful for all the support that we receive.

All items donated to SPLICE Child and Family Project and any monies raised will go directly to help us to provide practical and emotional support to families who reside in the county of Bridgend.

Our first auction was a £50 voucher which was generously

donated by www.experiencedays.co.uk who offer a range of

fantastic experiences available to suit everyone. We are hoping

to secure a  variety of items/experiences to suit different people

so that we can build an exciting auction group.

If any individuals or companies  would like to donate an item to auction we would love to hear from you.

We have made some rules so that the process is fair to everyone, please read and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Rules!

We want this to be a fun and interactive group so to enable all to be singing from the same hymn sheet we have devised some rules.
  • All bids must be made in the comment section of the actual item posted in our Facebook group. If there are two bids of the same amount the winning bid will go to the person whose post comes up in the comments section first.
  • Please only bid if you are prepared to pay for the item.  Unfortunately  bidders that continually  do not honour their bids will be removed from the group and will not have the opportunity to join in with any other auctions.
  • Items must be paid for within seven days of the auction ending, those that have not been paid for will be reauctioned after this time and after contact has tried to be established
  • Items that are won must be paid for in full before bidding on another item, so that the auctions remain fair for all.
  • SPLICE have the right to end or amend auctions as required
  • The minimum starting bid will be stated on each individual auction - and any bids thereafter must be in pounds (£'s) only. We will not accept any bids in pence unless specifically stated in the Facebook post.
  • The winning bid will be commented on by SPLICE Child and Family Project, and a message will be sent to notify the winner and arrange payment and collection. (Items may be able to be posted for an extra fee)
  • Collection of items can be arranged by contacting us on 01656 503141 or messenger we will accept cash on collection, payment through paypal or bank transfer.

  •  We would like to keep this space a happy and fun enviroment and we will not tolerate any threatening behaviour or bad language. Members of the group who do not show respect for others will be removed.
  • Please contact us as soon as possible if you mistakenly bid on an item so that we can rectify the problem.

By bidding on our  auctions, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.

Happy Bidding!
